Follow the directions (link) to register at the mymathlab.com website. This is where your online assignments will be done, where your continuously-updated grade can be found, and where the class discussion forum is. If you are not 100% certain that you will be staying with this class, there is a free "test drive" option that will give you access to the site for about a week.
Go to mymathlab.com and begin work on the "Study Plan". This part of the website contains exercises and practice tests and quizzes that do not affect your grade. This is where you should build the skills you will need to get the excellent grade you want!
Go to mymathlab.com and examine the "Homework" page. New homework assignments will appear on this page as the semester progresses. Homework is a component of your grade (see the Syllabus), but you are allowed to rework problems until you get them right.
Go to every day of class! Just because there is a major online component for this class does not mean you can miss the in-person parts.
If you have questions, Dr. Pignotti can be contacted in a variety of ways. You can email her directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can stop by office hours at any time - I will be waiting for you. You can also call her office phone, at 575-6115. In most cases you will get a response in 24 hours or less.
